MediTest hCG Card uses monoclonal antibodies specific to intact whole hCG for accurate determination of pregnancy. Urine is added to sample well on the test device. If hCG is present in the sample at levels of 25mlU/mL or greater, a colour line will appear in the test region. If hCG is present at lower levels, or not present in the sample, the test region will remain colourless. The sample continues to move to the control region and forms a coloured line, indicating that the test is working and its result is valid.
