Sterile lubricating jelly supplied in ready-to-use pre-filled syringes for urological lubrication. The formulation and delivery format are intended to provide controlled application to the urethra prior to insertion of urethral catheters and to assist device passage during cystoscopy; the instructions for use also state suitability for suprapubic catheterisation. The product is supplied with manufacturer instructions for use (IFU) that describe its intended clinical applications and handling. The pre-filled syringe presentation removes the need to transfer gel from bulk containers during procedures where direct urethral lubrication is required.
