Two-sided soft silicone wound contact layer designed as a primary dressing to be used beneath a secondary absorbent dressing. The perforated, transparent silicone film is coated with a gentle silicone adhesive to give an atraumatic contact surface that protects the wound bed during dressing changes and permits visual inspection without removal. The dressing is flexible and can be cut to size to suit clinical needs. The product family is marketed for wear up to 14 days when clinically appropriate.
